Arts@Renaissance is located in the garden level of the Greenpoint Renaissance Center at 2 Kingsland Avenue. The closest subway is the Graham Avenue L.
Arts@Renaissance is located in the restored former outpatient building of the Greenpoint Hospital. When the hospital closed in 1982 the community, in partnership with St. Nicks Alliance, began a protracted struggle to keep the site active. Through the tireless work of the neighbor coalition, Greenpoint Renaissance Enterprise Corp. (GREC), four of the seven buildings are now low and moderate income housing, while the fifth houses St. Nicks administration and Arts@Renaissance.
