What Would You Do With 4,500 sq ft of Arts Space?

Join us on Tuesday, January 17th at 6:30pm to share your thoughts on what the future holds at Arts@Renaissance!

What is an art space? What is a community space? What are the responsibilities of bringing these two spaces together?

As part of Arts@Renaissance’s year-long assessment of the best uses for our new space we are hosting a community dialogue on Tuesday January 17 at 6:30pm. The evening will include a panel discussion among local leaders both in the arts and in other sectors on the responsibility of art in community.

The panel discussion will be moderated by Laura Braslow of Arts in Bushwick and include Christopher Allen of Union Docs, Jason Andrew of Norte Maar gallery, Ray Cross of Bushwick Print Lab, local storyteller Jim O’Grady, local resident and A@R committee member Teresa Gonzalez as panelists.

The discussion will be followed by a conversation with the audience on future uses for the Arts@Renaissance space. In addition, audience members will be given a brief survey on their role in the community and their recommendations for Arts@Renaissance.

To RSVP email Chris at arts@stnicksalliance.org.

We want to hear your voice!
