NYC Salon Showcase: A Weekend at the Old Gem Presented by Arts@Renaissance
Arts@Renaissance is scheduled to reopen its studio residency and gallery in a brand new location on Metropolitan Avenue in Williamsburg in early 2016. In the interim, it has access to what used to be the Gem store at 695 Grand St. Williamsburg, Brooklyn 11211. Arts@Renaissance would like to invite all NYC artists to come exhibit and celebrate their work and the vibrant arts community in this great city during this weekend long exhibition in this raw exhibition space.
Opening Reception: Friday, February 27 from 7 pm – 10 pm
Gallery Hours: Saturday, February 28 & Sunday, March 1, 12 pm – 6 pm
To have your name included on the promotional materials, please send an email of commitment to participate to firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible but no later than Tuesday, Jan. 27. By committing, you are agreeing to come and hang an original work of art on the installation dates noted above. By committing, we will use your name on the promotional materials including an ad in the Greenline newspaper, Facebook promotions, posters, show cards, etc.
Artists should bring and hang one of their own works (or send a representative) on: Wednesday, February 25 and Thursday, February 26 from 12 pm – 8 pm.
Open to all NYC artists. Self-curated – hanging is first come, first serve. We will have nails, hammers and ladders but any additional hanging supplies must be provided by the artist.
All unsold work must be picked up on Sunday, March 1 from 6:30 pm – 8 pm or Monday, March 2 from 12 pm – 8 pm.
